I am always happy to pass on useful resources to our patients and readers. Not everyone responds to the same voice, style or method of information delivery. The best way to learn something is to come at it from different directions. The following resources include everything from brochures to books to posters to videos.
They run the gamut from adults to children, smokers to expectant mothers. The information covers flossing, periodontal disease, infection control, proper brushing technique and on and on.
It goes without saying that some of the material is repetitive. No problem. Skip what you want to and stop and browse what you want to. Whatever you take in is more than you knew before so it’s win/win.
I haven’t personally checked out every one of these resources, but they have been put online by reputable organizations, including departments of health and professional associations. If you have any questions about anything you see here, please ask me or one of our staff about it next time you are in. Having said that, help yourself to the following smorgasbord of dental knowledge and advice.
